Young green jackfruit or Nangka is a tropical fruit, originating from India. The enormous fruit grows directly on the trunk and can be up to 90 cm long and 40 kg. Young unripe jackfruit you can eat everything except the skin. It is cut into cubes and eaten as a vegetable. The taste is comparable to potato. Young green jackfruit is usually sold fresh or canned.
